Didn't like it at all. Way to crowded, not enough waitresses and food was cool, not even warm. Will never eat there again.

FYI: The joint has closed, apparently changed ownership. Will re-open soon but I forgot what the sign on the door said the new name would be.

You know I'm just a hac(half-ass-cook) that grew up on the east side of kansas city with no training, never claimed to be a chef just a cook. I'm just cooking crappy Kansas City food I grew up with at a reasonable price. You have definitely out classed me socially, economically and with culture. I salute you. You remind me of Dave Eckard, another story. I do have to get back to the kitchen I'm you-tubing on how to boil water, I keep burning the darn thing.
P.S. - some of the crappiest food I've eaten has been at celebrity chef's restaurants.
I may be irrelevant to you but I am not irrelevant to the restauranteurs whom I regularly patronize. I spend about $1,000/month dining out. I have no problem with making reservations, I always do. I love prix fixe menus, in fact I think we need more restaurants that offer prix fixe every day not just on special occasions. Most people value my restaurant recommendations because I've eaten at so many all over the US and the world. I used to own a successful travel agency for 10 years. I got to travel anywhere/anytime first class - for free. Stay in luxury hotels - for free. Drive luxury rental cars - for free. So what did I spend my money on? Good restaurants. In Paris, Rome, Brussels, London, Munich, Strasbourg, Lima, Rio, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipai, Bangkok, New York, LA, Seattle, Portland, Atlanta, etc, etc. You name it, I've been there and eaten at the best. (And the not so good either - you can't know good if you dont know so so or bad). Again, I say, stop bitching and get in the kitchen!

Pete, you need to spend more time perfecting your food than ranting on the pitch website. I've eaten at great restaurants all over the world and your food is just so so. quit bitching at all the bitchers and spend more time in your kitchen with the goal of making the best food IN THE WORLD.
See What I mean, Russ the night you dined we had 8 tables, what else did you lie about? Sounds like you like spanish food you might have came to the wrong place.

I did appreciate the simple menu, but that's where it ended. The wine list is not very good and the service was pushy. I went with my family and our server brought us items we just said we liked, but never ordered. When asked about the wine list, we had a bottle open already, he asked what I thought about this wine that was around $110/bottle. I said it was nice. Next thing I know he's opened it and is pouring it out. The food wasn't bad, but not memorable either.
For this area of town, it's a great addition. I wouldn't get too aggressive and move downtown where there is more competition. The dining room isn't comfortable, I wanted to eat and run. If he does want to open downtown, I'd suggest a new concept or a more imaginative menu and wine list.
