Reading a story like this kind of makes me feel Kansas City was a big time city back in the day. Seems like these days only the large cities like SF,LA,NY and Chicago have seedy kinds of things like this but even the seedy stuff in large cities are being replaced by Pottery Barns and Starbucks.
I will never forget going to The Strand in the early 80s ( i was in my early 20s) and watching two girls go making out in some kind of glass box in the lobby. Thank you for this article ---it brought back great memories of my youth.

It should not be hard to know that Sporting Kansas City's coach name is Peter Vermes and their best players are CJ Sapong, Graham Zusi, Kei Kamara and Matt Besler. Going up to a non-fan asking them something about soccer would never work out. Also, Sporting Kansas City are always soled out with over 19,000 fans coming in during regular season and over 20,000 fans during playoffs.
