I'm glad you put Guns N' Roses on the list because as skeptical as I was going to the concert, the show rocked!
Yeah it's sad that local music isn't a part of this. BUT, Fleet Foxes was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. They are truly the real deal.
I would have loved to be at the Fleet Foxes concert! They're a pretty fantastic folk group, if you ask me.
Also, Bon Iver!
oh god, how did I forget Queens of the Stone Age? Played their entire first album, then another 7 or 8 songs of requests from the crowd. I probably forgot because I was so fucking stoned at that show.
Another critical miss: Peter Gabriel w/ the New Blood Orchestra at Starlight, June 18, 2011. It was epic.
Critical misses: Kanrocksas, TVotR/!!!, Portugal. the Man twice (bottleneck was better), Deadmau5, motherfucking HUM.
Seriously???: Guns n Roses (you guys might be the only publication on earth to still take Axl seriously), Watch the Throne (how is bling bling rap not dead yet? two most overrated rappers EVER)
TVOTR/!!! was awesome.
No love for Elvis Costello or TV on the Radio @ Crossroads?
same for Bill Callahan, The Jayhawks, Wilco w/ Nick Lowe...
uggh, see paragraph 1.

no consideration for Paul McCartney. For a man that has been in the game as long as he has, his performance blew my mind that night at Sprint Center
