Re: “Missouri Rep. Mike Moon wants to close the state's last remaining abortion clinic

Truth is truth, talk around it and it still comes out. Bye, bye uninformed and kool aid drinkers. Pay attention and the truth will expose everything. As long as they keep us at each others throats, the nasties win. Obama, holder, blunt, long etc have sold us out. Wake Up!

Re: “Is the city done trying to oust a Section 8 housing developer from Armour Boulevard?

BRAVO to the Pitch for finally getting a comprehensive report out. I live directly across the street from the Bainbridge and have spoken to several people who live there. A large percentage of the residents let bad people hang around and have no incentive to stop. The back parking gate and doors are by secure despite the best efforts of Eagle Point. It would be an improvement for all neighborhood residents to decentralize section 8 housing and integrate! I feel like the city is at a good place of understanding a long terms and replicable solution here.

Nixon's failed leadership is evident, in that he couldn't lead a simpleton like rowdy girl away from her cell phone. Nice rant, hon.

"Talking heads" are those people you see on TV. People that write articles for publication are "ink-stained wretches", not talking heads. But you are an obvious puppet. "Being an American" allows you to publicly embarrass yourself (anonymously, even). It's in the constitution.

Re: “Missouri Rep. Mike Moon wants to close the state's last remaining abortion clinic

Hey David Hudnall do some real reporting. Like, both the democratic and republican parties have sold the American people out. Blunt and Long are puppets for Monsanto and other lobbyists. You know the truth, start representing the American people. Be an American, not a talking head/puppet.

Re: “Missouri Rep. Mike Moon wants to close the state's last remaining abortion clinic

Get your facts straight; Mike Moon brought impeachment charges against Gov. Nixon because he allowed CCW's personal information to be shared with the state and then with the feds. So why can't this do called reporter do an article on that? Or is this reporter the real political hack? Instead of doing a report based upon information from the Nixon political destruction machine, go out and do some real reporting. Geez! I know because I am one of the many victims that were affected by ole gov Nixon's lack of leadership!

As a life long Republican, it is sad that these over-zealous, bible thumping, psycho nut jobs have successfully alienated me from the Republican Party. However I vote, it will be with the intent of keeping these freaks out of office.

Re: “Missouri Rep. Mike Moon wants to close the state's last remaining abortion clinic

Another legislator in Jeff City that doesn't do actually anything for the people....but just files bogus law suits. many of these are backed by A.L.E.C., which is a corporate group of lawyers and also BILLIONAIRE RICK S. of Grow Missouri. Someone needs to look into Mike Moons Ethics Contributions as many of the BILLIONAIRS money is sent to the PAC. Also see if Moon is a member of A.L.E.C.
If he is run......he is worthless. Just collecting a paycheck from us tax payers.

Vince is the very very best - but he talks to the television. I've had hair cuts in Miami, Washington, DC, Topeka, Oklahoma City LA, and Bostson.. Vince is the best.

Re: “It's getting crowded on the Kansas City Royals bandwagon

Yay us! But adding 20% of registered voters from a total of 15 or so means about 3 more fans. It's Kansas we're talking about here.

Interesting to note a few other numbers there. 52% identified as Republican, to 28% Democrat and 20% Independent.
* 54% support $10.00 minimum wage
* Only 25% oppose any recognition of gay unions
* A whopping 58% say the gays having a marriage will make ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE IN THEIR LIVES!!!
* Jeb Bush only leads Hillary by 11%, where Obama was outvoted 54-38 last time
* All the other Republican candidates lead by less than 10% over Hillary- Cruz +3, Christie +4, Paul +5, and Huckabee +6

That the number of respondents was so overwhelmingly (R), Hillary is astonishingly close here.

Re: “It's getting crowded on the Kansas City Royals bandwagon

I think these stats are worth noting. Nobody in KC claims to have the "best fans in baseball" like our douchey bretheren from across the state claim.

I'm also pretty sure everyone who commented on FB about this article read the headline and only the other comments and based their biased bs on that.

Is this a story? This could have been summarized in a tweet and left at that.

Re: “Death of Cyclist Costs Company Millions

Anyone stop to think about what this horrible accident has been like for the driver? This poor man has to live with this for the rest of his life, and yes, while it was an accident, a man died. And now, this driver has to live out his days never forgetting what happened. Even though he wasn't at fault (proven by law enforcement and subsequent court case), no one seems to realize what this man is going thru day in and day out. Food for thought....

Re: “At Harrah's, '37 Steak tries to lure high rollers

We stopped in on Saturday night for a drink, and Michael did a great job of finding one my wife would like as well as serving me a housemade soda that I'd be happy to drink at any of my favorite restaurants. There is definitely some degree of disconnect between the current lighting/decor and what many think of as the hipster craft cocktail/dropper bottles on reclaimed wooden surfaces aesthetic, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. It's a casino, so we watched a lot of people come in for their usual drink, which they got, but then ended up trying something new and being delighted with it. From a business perspective, people stayed longer and drank more, and from a service perspective they learned their bartenders name and there was a lot of great talk about booze. Win-win.

The one thing I'd add in case the Yelp/Urbanspoon/Review sensitive corporate powers that be are checking back, and they usually are.....as God is my witness, you have got to change that fucking soundtrack in the bar. It has been the same Night at the Roxbury, droning, PTSD-inducing horror of early 90's former Soviet bloc shit the last two times I've been in there. If you are trying some sort of Manchurian Candidate experimentation, or have an inordinate number of mail order brides coming in from said former Soviet states and want it to feel like home for them as they meet their new husbands, you literally could not be doing a better job. But if neither of those things are required in order for you to satisfy your key demographic, then change the goddamn music. To anything. The theme from Barney would be a step up. I'm not the guy who mentions things like this just to be a smartass. I'm the other guy.
