I thought the movie was slightly dull. I actually disagree - I thought "Azkaban" was one of the best of the movies - it was visually stunning and very action-packed. I enjoyed the "dark" mood created by a wonderful director. Bring him back!

I thought that the movie wasnt tht good. For someone that read the book when it first came out the point of thw movie was confusing and not the much fun to sit through. I personaly, wish that I wouldnt have wasted my money on the hopes jsut to see harry break down by having voldermort take over him.

I always have a hard time telling if The Pitch movie reviewers ever like a movie. I think the struggle can be found in the extremely long, wordy reviews that do little more than show the writers' use of their Word of the Day calendar. Maybe The Pitch could benefit from having someone other than an English Lit grad do the reviews. Bikram yoga seriously? Ill have to try it out to see if people there truly show a physical challenge better than Bruce Willis did. I'm sorry to say, but I can't relate.
I really liked Live Free or Die Hard. It was very entertaining and although a couple of action scenes were borderline unbelievable, there were lots of Wow moments. The movie had plenty of good punch lines without seeming slapstick. I liked the villain, and it felt refreshing not having to see bullets pass through a body in slow motion with blood shooting out like a fire hydrant (we get the picture). I wasnt sure if a Die Hard movie could be PG-13, but I was not shortchanged when I left the theater.

Did this reviewer even see this movie? They got stuff wrong about characters and the plot.

THE CRAZIES? ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13? DAVID LYNCH? where are you getting these comparisons from? DEATH PROOF is a road movie? i think not. If you want a road movie look at the original SLITHER or BADLANDS. TARANTINOS movie was a slasher film w/ a car. mix an 80's slasher w/ VANISHING POINT and you get DEATH PROOF. GRINDHOUSE was complete garbage. The only saving grace was the feature presentation, coming attractions, and restricted tags. Being pretty proficient in knowing what an exploitation movie is(not a grindhouse movie), this stuff wasnt even close. it totally missed the mark with everything. putting scratches and inserting splices in and on the film doesnt make it an exploitation movie. Rodriguez doesn't know the first thing about exploitation or as people love to say these days..."grindhouse" movies. that is so assinine too, a grindhouse is a venue that you would watch the movie at, not a genre of movie like everyone seems to think. it would be like me saying twenty years from now, "hey let me show you ARE WE DONE YET? its this awesome multiplex movie." grindhouses showed horror, exploitation, kung fu, etc. grindhouse isnt representative of a genre or a particular movie.
