Re: “Succotash takes on the Taco Bell breakfast menu

I love Succotash, but that looks like something you'd see in a truck stop toilet.

But Beth didn't slam it completely. It's in the story that if you go to Taco Bell for breakfast to try the steak & egg burrito.

"Next up, we're going to compare the McRib to Oklahoma Joe's." Come on, guys...I'm sure the Succotash stuff tastes amazing, but the way you have to tell everyone how good it is by slamming Taco Bell is just lazy and not needed.

Too many dicks on the dance floor! #flightoftheconchords

But seriously ... please try serving these options again, Succotash. They sound tasty!

Re: “Succotash takes on the Taco Bell breakfast menu

It's apples and oranges. Fast food vs homemade. You can't really compare the two fairly. We were asked to create something similar with our own spin. You don't have to be an elitist or a hipster to be able to tell the difference between a homemade waffle with organic eggs and a reheated premade waffle with reconstituted eggs. The price points are also different. There is a place for both. No need to be a dick about it

Re: “Succotash takes on the Taco Bell breakfast menu

Yeah, I bet the guy whose job it is to have discerning taste in food would not be able to tell the difference. Because he is a elitist hipster. Or something.

I bet if Succotash served up exactly what Taco Bell did for a weekend, you snobs would gobble it up. Stop being so freaking elitist.

This report looks like it was paraphrased from the STAR.

Well done piece. If you are a wrestling fan it's been one hell of a week.

Re: “Longboards Wraps & Bowls signs deal for new Mission location

The amount of longboards masturbation that seems to go on makes me never want to go there.

Re: “Missouri House representative thinks getting an abortion is like kicking the tires on a new car

I'm totally pro-choice, but I totally admit there are people that could benefit from this. Much to my dismay, some of my con friends have points when they say we have turned into a throw away society.

Re: “Developers lay out their visions for the Kansas City of tomorrow

River walk.. some sort of river development. Bars and restaurants with patios overlooking the (admittedly ugly and smelly) river.

Re: “The Ultimate Warrior died Tuesday

Very well said, Justin. I penned my piece on Warrior late yesterday, and it's been very enjoyable reading the varying perspectives of everyone else who has written. All coming from different places, yet all having a lot in common.

Re: “Missouri House representative thinks getting an abortion is like kicking the tires on a new car

Equal Rights, and equal protections of the father are non-existent in the abortion debate.

Give the father abortion rights in the context that taking the pregnancy to term would cause "extreme mental health" distress of the father. Remember, folks. That clump of parasitic cells is 50% him.

Only then will the debate about abortion come to an end. It is murder.

Or does equal rights, and equal protections only apply to gay people, and women?

Re: “Missouri House representative thinks getting an abortion is like kicking the tires on a new car

Considering the job market kinda sucks now, I'd think about running for state congress. One of the only things holding me back would be having to maintain decorum around these stupid, self-righteous assholes like Chuck Gatschenberger. The way he waffles between calling an abortion "murder" and comparing it to buying a car? He's not even trying to pretend he's not a stupid bastard. The fact that he and his corrupt ilk maintain the monopoly on taxation and lawmaking for the state of Missouri makes my stomach churn.

Re: “Saturday night, Center of the City popped off at Vandals

Hey punk scene. Journalism is subjective and everyone has opinions. Nick Spacey is a pillar for KC punk rock for years. Is it maybe possible that you're so scene-cetric that you can't admit that maybe some of the bands are just ok and aren't extremely original or cutting edge? I mean thats punk right? I think the article was fair, but opinionated.

I think if you keep your bitching you'll isolate yourself to the point where NO BODY wants to review your fest because all you do is complain. We're pretty lucky to have a newspaper that is trying to get it right. But you can't shank the guy for giving his honest, not spiteful or malicious opinion.

Re: “Astonishingly efficient Kansas personal-care attendant bills Medicaid for 39 hours in a single day

Fun Fact:

Obamacare EXPANDS Medicaid, reduces the threshold for qualified applicants, and basically eliminates any proof requirements of need. So... Thank you for voting Obama back into office. You just screwed yourself, (and the rest of us).

Also....
How many people like paying more taxes? Can I get a raise of the hands? ...
THIS is what government oversight looks like. THIS is where your taxes go.

Your Welcome. :-)

This message is coming to you from,
Your local McCain/Palin '08, Romney/Ryan '12 voter.
