That's too bad, I remember reading somewhere about how Bass Pro made a big deal about not accepting TIF's but Cabela's were notorious about it. Guess the "free" money just got too tempting.
Good ol TIF.
When will they learn?
You want to stimulate the economy? Offer TIF to a local small business owner instead.
Chi Chi's Taqueria does a great rice/bean burrito. Hard place to find, though. It's waaaay out south off I-35. http://willnotbetelevised.com/tv/2011/05/c…
You can say what you want about Jermaine Reed, but he's a leader in our generation. He has done some dynamic things in a very short period of time, and he inspires me as a 28 yr old woman in the DC area. I can't help but wonder why positive change always has such a negative pushback from the very people who would benefit from the changes? We need to start praying for our leaders instead of trying to tear them down. Keep moving forward Mr. Reed, the world needs you.
What, no "Kneel Before Zod?" I'll wait until this comes out on Pirate Bay.

Los Tules pork burrito. Hands down.
Rico's Tacos Lupe!! $2 burritos on Thursdays! The. Best.
I am producing a documentary about this case. We are trying to tell the story accurately. If anyone has any interest in participating, please contact me at the email below.

my favorite burrito's come from a burrito truck down off Independence avenue I wish I could remember the name of the van.
No rice in my burrito, por favor.
Which one is sly?
Only one image for this story?
Good riddance.
Panchos, is always my go to Burrito place. The grilled chicken burrito is really good.
There is some really good Mexican food around KC but as for burrito's I'm waiting till I get back to Houston. That's the only place I've known with soft, hot, home made tortilla's. I'd just rather not bother with anything wrapped in warmed (or cold) cardboard-like flour rounds.
Need to try a lot of these.
I agree that Cancun Fiesta Fresh is highly underrated. Not too sure about Pancho's though...haven't been since late nights during college so I may need to try it again.
Burrito Bros. duh.
Another vote for burrito brothers in river market. Chicken, black beans, hot-hot green chili sauce, and some on the side for the chips. Even the mr. pibb mix from the fountain is good.
Really nice family owned joint, mom-and-pop store for reals.
I'm hungry. thanks.
Re: “The Corner returns a little pricier but worth every penny”
I LOVE this place so far (been there twice). The loaded grits are awesome, too. Yes, it's not some place I can afford to eat a couple times a week, but that's probably better for my health anyway. Glad to see them doing well so far.
