Without a website, I can't easily decide if it's worth bringing my group of 10-plus to the restaurant this weekend. Will probably choose a place I know and feel more comfortable with.
Brobeck's BBQ has ham salad sprinkled with crack. And now I'm hungry
Sounds a whole lot like MOD (Made on Demand) Pizza in Seattle. Several locations there, but is a Seattle area thing only. It's pretty good pizza, anxious to try this to see if this is decent.
I've yet to go to one of these 5 minute pizza places that are popping up everywhere. This is going to be the new trend huh?
The new album lives up to all the accolades. Well done, gents - and it's also great to see the name Danny Alexander as the interviewer/journalist. He's one of KC's finest music writers, and his work has been greatly missed.
The artichoke flatbread was great! The Asian chicken salad had way too much of some kind of lettuce that was so bitter I could hardly eat more than a few bites. And the chicken in the salad was so sparse I hardly noticed it was there. But the final straw: NO BABY CHANGING TABLES in the whole restaurant, not one. You've opened a casual restaurant in Leawood and you're excluding families with infants? Seriously? I was there for lunch. My 9-month-old didn't make a peep, but when I went to change him I was honestly shocked that there were no facilities set up for this. For this reason I won't be returning to try the salmon or the burger, which both sound pretty good.

It's a casual restaurant in Leawood, and not a changing table to be found. Completely unbelievable and unacceptable.
if you have never worked in the food industry you have NO idea all the crap the instores and delivery drivers put up with. If you are just looking at is as a percentage then yes it should have been around $300. You cant expect an order that large to be divided between even 2-3 people. They would have had at least 6-7 people to do this job. Let alone the driver took 2 trips to get all the food in. Its an outrageous insult to drivers, myself included who get stiffed or even $1. if you dont want to use YOUR gas to drive to the store then YOU should tip me for bringing it your house. At least pay for my gas, which is right now at $3.45. This is what is putting me through college, paying my bills, and the LEAST you could do is pay for the gas, let alone help me make a few extra bucks. For those of you who dont tip , ever wonder why your pizza takes the maximum amount of time to get to your door? or why there is never an extra ranch or garlic in the box? we know who you are and will continue to take the slowest way to get to your door.
David's Mojito:
* Wrestle 6 leaves of mint into submission
* Bury the mint under six inches of ice and leave it to die
* Punch a lime until it cries all its juice into the glass
* Add simple syrup. Just kidding, there's nothing sweet about this drink
* Yell furiously at a bottle of rum until the rum puts itself into the glass
The wedding ring says no, but the eyes and the drink say yes!
I prefer my creme de violette shaken by muscly arms.
You meant today!
Best Local Liberal? Kinda silly but OK. Why is there not a Best Local Conservative? This town is in dire need of conservatives so the city can get its priorities straight, fix the sewers, plow the snow, and get a reasonable tax rate that will attract more jobs to KCMO.
Andrew Heimberger was a joke. He couldn't keep his cool during a rush and couldn't take any criticism. He burned and stole food. Max was a good cook, just a bad leader and trusted Andrew way too muck. I have a feeling Remedy might get its act together if they hired an experienced executive chef.
I can't help but ROFL at tfayf. Cinzetti's is probably the best Italian food in Kansas, and you get to have as many desserts as you want. That's another thing KIDS LOVE. Sorry that I don't fit your stereotype of a MOTHER then! Restaurants are one of the last places to take your children where you can get some MUCH NEEDED time off! Shouldn't I be able to enjoy a nice meal, too? I am paying for the waiter's salary by paying for all of our food, so I think they can get over it if a child wants to put his hand in the tray of mashed potatoes, or put lettuce in his hair! How is that a BIG DEAL? Kids will be kids, and people need to get over it! They are a BLESSING!
Since the smoking ban, lets just change the non-smoking section to a no-kid section
First off, since when is Cinzetti's or joy wok fine dining? Second, if God threw ketchup in my hair I'd b pissed, to follow up, mom of 4 you r why this world sux!! I have kids, but when I am treating yself a kid free evening, I don't wanna deal with OTHER PEOPLES (PROB LIKE YOURS) unruly children. I am all for no kids allowed, if I owned one it'd b that way. I wait tables and if I didnt have to deal with all these bratty kids, I would most likely not have to deal with the assholes who created these unruly monsters
So....this is illegal, then? McDonalds had best settle this quickly and generously before the story gets wider traction.
If you don't like the policy, don't go there. BFD
Re: “Boulevard and Sierra Nevada join forces for Terra Incognita, which hits shelves Wednesday”
Why does Boulevard charge so much for its product in KC? Does it ship it to Montana via New Jersey and back so the carbon footprint will be larger?
