Re: “Kansas Town restaurant closes after five months

They should have lived up to their name - by serving dishes that are regional/local. Steaks, some BBQ - that would have done it!! Why would an owner allow someone to do as he/she pleases? Where was the vision?

Re: “Kansas Town restaurant closes after five months

The name did them no favors. I'm sure they've already been teased mercilessly but it could not have had a less appetizing sounding name.

The Tenderloin Grill burgers are the best! Doubles are cheap and massive! Not to mention the brilliance of the Tenderger. Tenderloin Grill, hands down.

Re: “Hamburguesa Loca has two crazy good burgers

Charles, right on review of a great little NE KCMO spot.
The Hamburguesa Loca is my favorite meal there, but the entire menu is very tasty.
Not fast food and that's a good thing.

1/2 price burgers (many to choose from) at Talk of the town in Overland Park. You can get a nice sized burger, fries and a beer under 10 bucks...

Re: “Willie Nelson stopped time Sunday night at Starlight Theatre

I love the fact that I am reading more comments about the lack of Jason Isbell coverage...So glad that Jason got some good exposure to the audience (even if the press coverage is lacking).

Re: “Willie Nelson stopped time Sunday night at Starlight Theatre

I actually went to see Isbell first, Alison & co second and Willie 3rd. 35 minutes was just not enough so I had to go home and listen to him then I've had him in my headphones all day. A seriously great night of music.

Cash bar and you have to purchase tickets?

What a stupid event.

I wanted to like the 300 burger, back in 2008, but was underwhelmed.

Willie was better than I expected at his age. Krauss put me to sleep. That was good though, cause that nap got me rested for Willie.

$11 for a cup of that Boulevard swill.

Re: “Willie Nelson stopped time Sunday night at Starlight Theatre

Isbell was quite good, but noticed he didn't play electric. So.... No Super 8, Decoration Day etc... But so goes life on the road as an opener with a 35 minute slot.

Re: “Is the International House of Prayer planning a ‘dorm’ in Hyde Park?

Our Red Bridge property backs up to fellow IHOPers. Children are all over the place-and I feel terrible for the poor children which are seemingly unminded hours on end "playing" in a rodent/snake infested unkept jungle out back-without any child type playthings. Several times during the year an adult will make an outside appearance but will NOT reply when greeted. I wish I'd know about the likes of them BEFORE I purchased our property.

Not exactly the vision of the "humanitarians" that they wish to depict here.
