Everyone decided to play disc golf instead, I was more interesting.
Fantastic. Amazing massage. Been to Massage Serenity 4 or 5 times . I absolutely love the staff and the quality of the massages. Beautiful massage studio . And very professional staff.
The Kentucky Cycle...Terrific show!! Highly recommended. Don't miss it.
Love everything about this club but wish the smoking was kept to the outside. Great music, best bar food in town and absolutely awesome people working there.
Mixed reviews, just completed my first and maybe last visit to Torreon.
Nice ambiance, but a "booth" is really a table with half of its seats against the wall.
Server was very good. Chips were excellent and warm, the salsa was good.
I ordered a margarita, "Our fish bowl margarita (house blend) is good" Yuk! It tasted odd, if not weird. And, with an after burn on the tongue. I'll have a regular one, please.
A "fish bowl" of ice with a little liquid in it arrived. It tasted like a regular margarita. Ok.
I ordered the chicken fajita. My companion, two beef enchiladas, "no onions".
The enchiladas were described to me as "basic". When asked, "good, bad or indifferent"? She replied "indifferent".
The fajita tasted good, but was more or less, middle of the road as far as fajitas go. The chicken, although not completely "dry", was not moist either.
The big shock came when the check arrived. Food prices were reasonable, but they charged $18.00 for 2 margaritas! "You had top shelf". I never requested "top shelf", and there was absolutely nothing special about the two glasses loaded with ice and very little fluid, until some ice melted, that I received. They made no effort to reconsider.
So, as I told the hostess, food was ok, but I'll not be back for $9 margaritas.
We have eaten at this restaurant since it opened and everything we have eaten there and the service and managment has been excellent. What is wrong with this person complaining about this restaurant and that care and service was bad?

Stinkin' delicious and large servings! I didn't like BBQ but I love this place! The smoked catfish sandwich is amazing!!
Ate there last night (first time; Godfather table, with friends). I was not impressed with taste, esp. at the price.
Service was excellent except for server's representation of pizza size (she made it seem much smaller, and I didn't want all that food). I got the Four Seasons and found it to be soggy in the middle (outer crust was great) and bland. My friends liked their selections well enough.
My husband loved the asparagus appetizer.
He got the pork chop, and it was well plated and had nice apple puree/garlic garnish, but it was not uniformly tender (and also, alone, was bland).
My Caesar salad was o.k. I have had anchovies before, and the way they ended up tasting as part of Blue Grotto's vinegarette dressing was not tasty to me / tasted very differently.
Saw people I know, though, from around town, so it's a popular place. It was packed, and everyone else was happy. I have leftovers in the fridge, but I'm afraid of them : )
Went to Foo's for dessert (not me, them!), so can't comment on the sweets.
Worst restaurant I've ever eaten at!!! Service was terrible, sangria didn't have any alcohol, food was bland and over priced. To top it off the restaurant had my car towed from a reserved spot WHILE I WAS EATING INSIDE!!
Management was completely inept at resolving their mistake. I tried to contact owner Casey Adams who has been completely unresponsive. I'm going after them through the BBB (Better Biz Bureau).
NEVER EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!!!
attended Lidia's 14th yr. anniversary on Nov. 4th. Don't know when I've been so disappointed. Usually LOVE Lidia's cusine NOT this time. Had pasta trio, all 3 choices were cold, the ziti was dried out and crispy on the ends as well as 3-4 pieces "glued" together and the hay & straw offering was like glue (thick, pasty). Had the lemoncello tiramisu, normally I LOVE anything lemon, tart but this was down right bitter. Ended up paying a lot of $ for a lot of food I couldn't eat. Had a private party in upstairs dining room, Lidia trying to cram too much into one evening, felt badly for cooks, the kitchen was slammed, totally over extended.
Awful...not bad...not REALLY bad.....AWFUL!! My wife and I arrived around 7 pm on a Monday night to find a completely empty restaurant ( we should have followed our instincts and fled ). The only human to be found was the host who looked irritated that we had interrupted his phone conversation. We asked for a booth and he took us to a booth that, on my side, had about a foot square hole in the seat patched with black duct tape (again, we should have followed our instincts and fled ).
After waiting and waiting for the host to get off the phone and take our order ( no waiters on duty) we ordered three appetizers, shrimp and sweet potato with lettuce wrap, crab Rangoon, Vietnamese spring rolls and hot tea…what could go wrong? When we finally got our order the shrimp and sweet potato sticks looked like small, overcooked fish sticks that had been sitting on a counter under a heat lamp. We had to look closely to find the four pieces of shrimp that had the same French fry shape and consistency of the totally tasteless sweet potato fries. Sadly I have just described the best parts of this appetizer. The lettuce used to wrap the shrimp and sweet potato sticks was warm and so limp you could literally wrap it around and around your finger without causing it to crack! The only positive about the lettuce was that there wasn’t much of it. When we were able to flag down the host who was between phone calls, we asked for fresh lettuce and were greeted by a quizzical look followed by “Really?”.
We finally did get fresh lettuce (there actually was some on the premises) but it could not hide the texture, taste or looks of the sweet potato / shrimp sticks. Moving on to the Crab Rangoon, my wife thought it was OK, I thought it looked and tasted like it might have been on the lunch buffet and saved for lucky dinner diners. The spring rolls were average (high praise for this evening) but, at least, the peanut sauce was rich, thick and tasty. The tea was excellent even if we were never asked if we needed more.
We finished quickly and left a goodly amount of food, but, getting out was no easy matter as we had to wait and wait and wait for our check while our” host / wait staff” finished his never ending phone conversation. We usually leave a 20% tip as we appreciate the job most restaurant employees do, even if the food is just average. Tonight, we left zero which was both a well-deserved tip and a generous score for the food, the ambiance and the service we received at Sung Son.
No longer does anyone smoke there, the place is immaculate. The alley makes a good smoking porch. Neighbor's bamboo a nice effect.
An excellent place to see live music shows and the city is hopeful for a sports team to relocate here.
This is an excellent restaurant and also one of the best near Overland Park. Nicer atmosphere than Bo Lings as well as service. Food is just as good or better. Also not as crowded.
Not worth a star!! Horrible. Horrible acting, horrible time. Not intended for anyone looking to entertain their children.
Waitress /bartender completely ignores everyone,, unless she's showing baby pictures to a select group of people,, she brought me the wrong drink after finally getting her attention,, and she tried to say I said I wanted the other drink,, I am one of those people who slowly says DIET coke, she never checked back with us, and the cook had to bring us our food after I heard him ding the bell three times,,, she just kept talking, she wasn't working at all,, then,,, at 3:30 am I woke with food poisoning,, no question... I could barely make it to the toilet, and was leaning into it,, I had no strength,, I would stay clear of this place,,, I have no idea what was wrong with the tacos I ate, or the cheese nacho dip,, but this place will never get me go back,, don't trust them with the food you put into your mouth,,, I was nothing but positive, and tried to make every excuse for all this until I started getting sick,, HORRIBLE!
Do any of you realize that they had a fundraiser this weekend for lung cancer? The Owner passed away some time ago as a result of the illness.
