Local psychology professor gets involved in NFL draft
"Believe it or not, there are fewer thugs (in the NFL now). I would say that, in the early to mid-'90s, I would have probably agreed that there were more cases that looked a little bit scary off the field. Frankly, that kind of peaked, and I think it is a trickle-down effect," says Robert TroutwinePh.D., a psychologist who uses a test he developed to profile possible NFL draft picks.
