Thanks, Charles, for relaying my wild and wacky experience with my dearly departed Dan.
He is very active this week, just left a 'wheat' penny on top of a freshly cleaned litter box (that used to be HIS job, so i suppose he's letting me know I'm doing a good job??)
Jasper, I am relying on you to help out this year with the basil and other herbs in my garden. Unless Dan has some really supernatural gifts, you will be my "GO-to" guy!
Whenever we eat at Jasper's Ristorante, we come home marveling about the dining experience we've had. Every season, Chef Jasper creates innovative twists on standard Italian fare with whatever's fresh, local and flavorful. Whether that's just-picked heirloom tomatoes or peaches, the seasonal menu will be chock full of unique dishes featuring that item. And for the old school Italian lovers, the main menu offers so many amazing dishes. If you live in KC area and haven't tasted the Shrimp alla Livornese (a closely guarded recipe for good reason), it will just knock your socks off! Everyone I know who goes there has a favorite dish - it becomes a challenge just narrowing down the choices for dinner.
The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. On a regular basis, a member of the Mirabile family will stop by your table to say hello. We take all of our visiting friends and relatives there - they are always impressed with the food and the impeccable service.
Jasper's Ristorante is truly a gem! I would encourage anyone who wants a superb dining experience coupled with excellent customer service to make reservations soon.
Re: “The ghost that cooked marinara sauce last night”
Thanks, Jennifer, it's been a fascinating journey these last four months! Never a dull moment...
