oh god, this is awful. one less shithole for the morbidly obese to stuff their faces...
I love Westport-- during the daytime. Get rid of America's Pub and that shit hole Karma (or whatever it is) and keep the drunk assholes in check and you'll have a great place that people from EVERYWHERE- local and out of state- will enjoy. It's Kansas City's answer to some of the great, eclectic (and abundant) blocks of Chicago. We'll never be Chicago, but Westport's having a great mini-rennaissance that is making it an inviting place to come back to. However, until Westport's yearly murder rate is less than one, it's going to always have a that bad omen associated with it. Either way, I will continue to PATRONIZE LOCAL!!
Beer Kitchen is easily one of the top new restaurants in KC. Have been there several times and have always eaten and drank something different. Everything has been fantastic. Eat LOCAL.
Big Fish?
Milk?
i like Milk... simple. Could work for a comfort food type place. Or, could be something on the complete other side of the spectrum.. classy, fancy. Or, i just don't know what i'm talking about... OR......
bravo chuck bravo!!! who gives a shit, really!?!? he's right, fags call each other fags and niggers call each other niggers. then they want to go and cause a big friggin political unwarranted rukkus when someone not like them calls them out. who frickin cares?!?!?! what people don't know or see is that, more than likely, Chad Ochofaggo and Shaun Squeezem Smith are probably good friends jjust giving each other a rash of shit... just like fags, niggers, spics, wops, honkeys, degos, crackers do!
went to the new locale a week or so ago for lunch... we were among many LUNCH diners that waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. management and wait staff showed little concern. sad, because we really loved lulu's. hopefully, there are just some new kinks to be worked out.
Re: “R Bar: This time it's really closed”
what a great place, too bad it's gone so soon... great space/venue and the food was fantastic... really wish the bottoms would come to life soon... hard to sustain a good business down there. i will miss R Bar. thanks Joy!
