I don't care how we get an NBA team, and I like hockey ok.... but KC is a basketball town and I know the fans would eventually get behind them. Having lived in Dallas from 99-06 I got over my "only-like-college" b-ball bs, and grew to love the Mavs.
They were originally from Minnesota, "The Land of 10000 Lakes".
Agree that the BBQ should be focal and of high quality, but not regarding "uncomplicated menus".
When I lived in Dallas, a few places had "complicated" side dishes by KC standards... fried okra, homemade mac-n-cheese, green bean casserole, corn-on-the-cob, mashed potatoes, etc (Sonny Bryan's was among the best
After moving back to KC, the old beans/slaw/potato salad bit got really old. C'mon KC BBQ joints, step it up a notch!
Give it a break, Chuck... no one cares. Seriously, I can count the people on one hand who will give a crap when you die.
Typical Ferruzza... can't make an intellectual point, so insult the hapless hoi polloi instead. Haters gonna hate, right Chuck?
Re: “Pho Hoa is off the chain”
Sure would be nice to have one further south or east in Jaco... in DFW there's practically one in every other suburb.
