Spencer: Unfortunately, there's not much of anything healthy about all the fake soy products on the market. Oftentimes they're packed full of highly processed ingredients and excessive sodium. As a vegetarian, I often wonder if it's not healthier to just eat the real thing instead of the faux alternative.
Personally, I think you should eat whatever you feel like you should eat. I am a vegetarian for ethical reasons, but if I really want a bite of BBQ, by God, I'll eat a bite of BBQ.
Side note, Beer Kitchen's cheat loaf is delicious. Even my carnivorous date said so.
"no one there (Lee's Summit) would know what Blanc Burgers + Bottles was."
Wow, way to sound disgustingly pretentious.
The problem with putting calories on menu boards is that people tend to think, "Oh, I'm only ingesting 540 calories? Versus 790? I must be eating something healthy!".
Yes, calories on the menu board is a good idea in theory, but counting calories does not necessarily make one healthy.
And Artisan...seriously, couldn't agree more! How aggravating that mass produced, frozen breakfast sandwiches are "Artisan". Huh-larious.
Could we get any lazier?
Tank 7 is tooo delicious. This just made my Saturday!
I work in a coffee shop, and it's annoying when people come in for 6+ hours at a time, and only purchase a $2 coffee. Come one. We're not your office away from the office. Either pay up or get out.
My vote is a couple hours tops, unless you keep purchasing items.
And if you ever come in and use our internet without paying? I will stink-eye you to eternity.
Re: “No, Muddy's is not going to reopen in midtown”
Wow, thank you for providing us with such an eloquently worded comment.
