While there is no doubt that 31 oz is extreme. Has anyone actually examined how much one really gets? From my experience, the cups are filled to the top with ice. I would think the ice takes up a significant amount of volume.
Fastmetal,
While I generally agree, not all chains are created equal. Case in point: Smashburger. I dare you to have one of their burgers and not say it's damn good.
My absolute favorite burger in the metro is served on Justus Drugstore's patio. It's nothing if not delicious and local. That being said, I also think Smashburger makes a very good burger.
I'll also give points to Smash for creating a local burger and serving Boulevard. Gotta count for something, right?
Any idea is any size bottle will do? I don't have any "regular" Shatto bottles, but have a few of the pint bottles.
Love it!
Please add a vintage NFL metal lunchbox to my Christmas list.
The Shatto Pumpkin spice is quite simply, the bomb. It's amazing cold. I warmed it up the other night, delicious. I would like to make a shake with it. I want to try it as a cream in coffee. The possibilities are endless.
Sorry to hear about Russell Stover closing, however, as a UMKC alum, this location presents an intriguing spot for a new food place, perhaps a donut shop?
Re: “The five best beer-sipping patios in Kansas City”
Justus Drugstore "Eastside" Patio. Fantastic. Ate there tonight. Fabulous food, impeccable service, great drink.
