I've been, unfortunately. I have no complaints about the service. The staff was attentive, quick, courteous and asked me to come back. Of course, that's easy to do when you're the only customer in the restaurant, which I was. Just not worth your time. So many better burgers out there.
I completely agree with the anti-chain sentiment, however, having been to Tasso's, I had to ask myself what's better about it than a chain? It's an ugly, cramped, old-feeling dining room with obnoxious music and staff. It's trying to be the cliche of a Greek restaurant. Can't there be a better Greek restaurant experience? Or is Tasso's really as good as it gets?
My wife and I are pretty good about not settling. Our trusty stand-bys are Chipotle, whose health considerations are lessened by only eating half and saving the other, and, sadly, a frozen Totino's pizza. So cheap and I think they taste absolutely delicious. There. I said it.
Thanks for opening our eyes to the degrading effects of energy drinks on society today!
But consider this: I started drinking coffee only when i joined the workforce and began my 8-5. Kids these days are finding it harder to get jobs straight out of college due to the recession, so perhaps their coffee drinking habits are just lagging behind proportionally.
Or that's just a bunch of bull crap. C'mon kids! It's a much better way to start your day than some gut-rotting cannister of jet fuel packed with guarana!
The problem with sushi, especially if the rolls are thick rendering the bites quite large, is that you can down 3 pounds of the stuff extremely quickly... before your brain realizes how full you are.
Another consideration: alcohol affects my capacity greatly. If i'm just drinking a soft drink or water, I fill up faster. Give me sake, though, and I'm a bottomless pit.
Still, people exaggerate. Average for me = 10.
Just cinnabon, i guess.
Re: “New Fire Burgers has big burgers, very little charm”
Okay guys, so who wins between KC Smoke Burgers and Fire Burger?
