In part of his horrible budgeting, there were times when food was rationed for the dogs because there was not enough. The FOOD! One of the only things those dogs have to look forward to. They sit there all day. They get nothing but food and water. Rationing the only thing that they love?? Rationing it not considering the health risks most of them were facing. Come on now... just an example of what would goes on there.
Is there anything you can share about the 'no euthanizing' right now? I don't understand the point of it I guess. Just wondering if you could elaborate at all. How is cramming all these animals into kennels together helping anything? Thanks me
I'm not sure what it is that I have that your going to take away from me. So I guess you can have it... I dont know what your talking about. But I do know, it has nothing to do with this situation, this article, the accusations and this blog. But I'm sure you could find another one (blog) where your beliefs are accepted and understood.
And no I wont do something else. Again, not sure what you mean by that... but I'm here to put out the truth. To try to help people understand that what you see isnt always the end. As I've said, Dr. S can make things look really great and put together when they arent at all. He is a politician. He can manipulate a situation to make him look like a hero. And if you were to question him, he would act as if you had no right to do so. Please know i'm only posting on here for information. Not to debate my personal beliefs on other topics with you or anyone else for that matter. There is enough to be said about the matter hand, so lets not drag other issues into this.
These are not lies. The volunteers don't have enough time to sit around and make up faulse accusations against Dr. Steckelberg. Nor would they want to.
Tomki. Get a job there. Then have an opinion please. It is almost frustrating that you are saying these off the wall things. Are you being paid to sit here and defend this man? I dont understand and honestly you just dont make sense. I played doctor when Dr. Steckelberg didnt feel like it. I was there. I witnessed it. I turned my head to some of the BS things that he pulled. Im sick when I think about the things he didnt do for these animals. I fostered a puppy for two months, found in an awesome home, put it in for surgery, and came in and found it cold and dead. Due to incompetent staff. I respect you have an opinion, but these personal attacks to me are un called for. I will keep fighting this and stand up for what I know is right. I covered up his mistakes and now its time for me to reconcile. Please respect me as a poster, just as I have respected you.
TomKi, according to Dr. S things have been going according to plan. He doesnt see anything wrong with how things are run. Go spend a week there and then post your comments. The 'sad thing' is how much the public has believed his lies and his butterflies and sunshines portrayal of what goes on at that animal hell on earth.

Probably the only thing that I agree with that has come out of your mouth. Your right, Dr. Steckelberg should have NEVER taken on this project. BUT, he had to come on and play hero. What a hero. But I dont agree with this being inevidable with anyone taking over. Seriously there were times when that place was nothing but a living nightmare. For all parties involved. The choices that were made have gotten where we are today. Ugly ugly ugly things. Things I dont even let come into my memory. I tuck them away and ignore them. It was horrible. And horrible in the hands of that man.
