Re: “Video: The Funk & Reggae Dance Summit

If our band practices are ANY indication of what Friday night will be... You'll hate yourself for missing out. So don't. Be there and be happy about it later.

Re: “Summit on Summit St.: Local artists and KPRS face off at 64111 Studios

I'm not sure how much one can accomplish with such a campaign without changing the landscape of Corporate Radio.

But I respect the efforts of local artists to affect change in this market.

I just think it's a much bigger problem, the industry over, than one can truly get his hands around.

Re: “Cordish explains why DJ Jazzy Jeff's set was cut short

Perish the thought that the song wasn't personally written, performed, or conceived with your girlfriend (whom I'm guessing he's never met) in mind. But I suppose if you've chosen to patronize a nightclub and are somehow put off by the usage of vulgarities I understand. Bible study might be more your speed. Adults tend to...well...behave like adults at nightclubs. And again, anyone who has an understanding of how soundsystems work realizes there's a man-sized hole in Jon Stephens account of what happened last night.

Re: “Cordish explains why DJ Jazzy Jeff's set was cut short

I'm outraged by people who fail at critical thought. I cannot recall anything in today's media frenzy that suggests obscenities were yelled at the KCL crowd. More importantly, I think you're being a bit disingenuous to suggest that such is completely out of place in such an environment. The use of expletives is fairly commonplace I'd imagine. I think Cordish's well documented history might have a place at the table, but I suppose you could just brush that off with the rest of the truth.
