Thanks everyone, for the show updates! Shaping up to be one helluva weekend!
Ah! Thanks for the catch, Kyle! I unfortunately often lose track of what day of the week it is...
Well, they've been tweeting about it from their Twitter account. Here's a link to the main eBay page listing everything that's a part of the Japan fundraiser: http://donations.ebay.com/char...
Hmmm. Well they tweeted about the auction several times from their twitter account, so I think it's real. Plus, here's a link to the main eBay page listing everything else that's auctioning off for the Japan charity: http://donations.ebay.com/char... Looks like you've already been outbid, too!
Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 27, at 10AM. Get 'em fast. The Chicago double-show sold out quickly.
As someone who worked as a "hospitality girl" and then in production for several years, I can tell you, when bands ask you for drugs, no matter what your position is on drug intake nor what you yourself have access to, it's always a sticky situation. Great story though. I have a similar story about Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, when I was a still a student and they were playing at our "dry" campus. She sent every single one of her Dap Kings out to find me, individually, and ask for weed, until I (and anyone in my position, I would hope) gave in. This is a great story/post.
