These North and South designations taken from the Davey's site signify the STAGE each artist will be seen on. Two stages North and South (almost like a Pavement tune I remember); the North being the bigger, newer one actually on the corner of 34th and Main, and the South being the venerable, teeth-cutter one we all have known and loved for lo these 60 some-odd whiskey-soaked years. This arrangement allows for continuous music during the event.

Meh, it's the people that really matter. It was a good run, let's look at it that way and besides, the bar was never the same after Karl died, Dave died, Jake died, Mackey died, Ron R. died, --the list goes on and so it goes...Congratulations John Yuelkenbeck on many great times and unswerving musical service!
And anyway, I still miss Joe's Standard Bar, now THAT was a jukebox!
