Sounds like a terrible time.
I don't understand why everyone has been announcing the (temporary) loss of Streetside as the death of the vinyl shop in Westport. The place is within walking distance of Zebedee's on 39th, a FAR superior place to find new (analog mastered, even) and used vinyl, without having to dig through hundreds of Bill Cosby and Styx records.
I'll remember how I have taken the same record up to them on three different occasions to inform them that the record housed in the sleeve is the incorrect one, and continually find it back in the shuffle on my next search, incorrect record and all.
This place is awful, honestly. My girlfriend and I went there a few weeks back and there was absolutely NOBODY eating there besides us, which should have been the first hint. The potato skins were alright, but the taco meat was dry and topped with VELVEETA FREAKIN' CHEESE. Unacceptable. I've told everyone I know to avoid this place.

Yeah, that was only covered like six hours ago. No big deal.
