i accidentally ended up at mad marlon's apartment once. he's kinda curt...but still likeably straightforward.
i watched the show when he was on there and he was a talentless egotistical douche on the show. looks like he's keeping that up. good job dan!
it would REALLY make a show to swing ike around now...that would bring the media out. haha...
damn. not one band i voted for won anything...
god hard times was such a great album. i expect no less from the new one. they refine their stuff a little more with each album.
i dont know that id go as far as calling it the "new new york city" but theres so much great stuff coming out of kansas city. plain and simple. also, i dont even think of those three bands as being among the best in kansas city. there are far better in my opinion but i am ready for everyone to see how great of a scene kc has.
i'm just sad its gonna happen after i moved away...
Re: “Wayward Q&A: Crackin' Nuts with Darren Welch of In the Pines and Midwestern Musical Co.”
god i miss being able to go to an ITP show anytime. darren is a good guy, ive always stopped him and told him what a great show he played and he's always seemed genuine when he thanked me for coming.
