You actually ordered a Budweiser?
Really enjoyed that Electric Indian release when I wrote about it last year.

Great piece. Really enjoyed your attention to detail and your love for classic juke boxes.
Been to Sosa's once and probably won't go back. We went the first couple weeks after it opened and got horrible service and the food was subpar. Our regular waiter didn't seem to no anything about the menu and overall appeared to have very little experience in the service industry. I say "regular" waiter because several other people came over and kept talking to us during our meal. One was a middle aged man who appeared to be a manager or owner. He was trying very hard to be folksy but ultimately (after quizzing me about music and grabbing up a straw wrapper from our table while we ate), he felt like my dad. Another woman introduced herself as the owner and seemed nice enough. Anyway, the point is that I don't want to talk to three different people several times while I'm trying to eat. The meatloaf muffin was pretty disgusting as well. Dare I say, I miss Mama's!??!?!?
Talking about hipster culture is the most inane form of entertainment right now. Typically the people who spend the most time maligning it are hipsters themselves. Its about being self referential while being in denial. No body explicitly admits to being a hipster, they just criticize other people with their tongue slightly in their cheek.
Don't worry, I wouldn't waste my time reading any more of your shitty writing. Three of the things I mentioned were the second night, you just didn't bother to cover them.
Re: “Kansas City is not a top-five beer city”
Yeah, we have a pretty weak brew scene here. Part of the problem is that microbrew restaurants were illegal in MO until 1990 I think. I've always wondered why Boulevard doesn't open up a restaurant like Schlafly though. Anyway, McCoy's is a decent place but their beer sucks. Haven't been to the other TWO microbrews in the city. Well, I've been to Biersch and Granite City but they're both out of town crap.
