this is the type of red tape that I hope Sly James gets rid of to make Kansas City a more attractive place.
the entire strip mall and corner is failing, they lost Sprint, Chilli's and the Japanese Steak House (Can't remember the name). The location needs to have some serious infrastructure rehabilitation, it does flood all the time, the parking lot is too small to accommodate all the restaurants. But let's be honest, it was a Chilli's in Westport, if they were making money they would have stayed. Starbucks didn't make it either. People want local flavor in Westport. Maybe Messy's should expand their concept and make a Sports bar at the location instead of Buffalo Wild Wings.

You can get some excellent gelato at Carrollos in the rivermarket.
