He'd be a world class idiot if he didn't sign with the Royals. He'd get $8-9 million to sign and if one day he decided he wanted to go back to college if it didn't work out in the minors, he could. But, if he gets hurt in college, kiss all that money goodbye.
You bet Sloane! Not sure if you'll remember us, but you overheard us mention the Balthazar's when we were in during the Art Fair. We'll be back soon!
Another nice touch is the former head of vino at Le Fou Frog, Sloane, is the GM at Story. Great management here.
Why does there have to be a put down reference to Overland Park and the suburbs? It has nothing to do with the food. When reviewing a midtown restaurant, why not say, "if it wasn't for the suburbs, this place would be out of business." Doesn't matter where you live in the city, people will go there if the food is good.
Well, we can't all be insane and so easily manipulated like WBC does to people.
Here's a good idea, since WBC whole gimmick is based on immature name calling. Let's all get signs that says "GOD HATES WBC" and "THANK GOD FOR DEAD WBC MEMBERS"
These people are extremists and full of hate and anger. Brainwashed beyond belief! Prove to me there is God, prove there is a heaven and hell, then we can have a discussion. Nobody gives a sh*t about WBC, they are the laughing stock of the US.
Re: “Bubba Starling's sister wants him to stay at Nebraska”
Actually, there are tons of two sport athletes. Most have the common sense to take the money and pursue that dream. Sure, he can go to Nebraska, but what if a LB blows out his knee when he's rushing the ball? I'll tell you what that mean, the end of his chance to excel in either sport. It's not rocket science, you take the money. If for some reason baseball doesn't work out, he can go back to school and play football. Lots of kids do it.
Oh, and by the way, this kid is fresh out of high school, you sure are setting the bar high saying he can be one of the best players in the history of the two sports. He's never played against any players of his caliber.
