First, it's the Atlantic Coast Conference, how they heck are Tex, KU, and Mizz even in the discussion?! Last I checked the Atlantic Coast went from Maine to Florida.
Second, the only thing being in the same conference guarantees is one game per year with Duke and Carolina, there are no auto home-and-home games series to be had. But sadly that also guarantees finishing no better than 3rd in the conference year in and year out (at least in b-ball).
Third, if TX wants to join the ACC just keep their big TV deal then they can shove it; so you want to horde your pile and bring down ACC Athlete's Academics? No thank you.
