So by the same logic I see here insurance companies shouldn't be required to help people get pregnant since God decided in the first place they shouldn't. Therefore those that use any artificial means of having a child are then also going against God's will and creating a creature that is not of God's desire but their own selfishness. If the religious type don't want to pay for what they consider others sins why should we pay for theirs?
So then according to State Rep. Pete DeGraaf's logic women should expect to be raped.
Re: “How Kansas is closing in on becoming the first abortion-free state”
Before the legalization of abortions it didn't stop girls that had money from getting abortions, not in this country though. Only the poor women would have them here in the US in a back alley clinic often suffering medical problems because of botched abortions. There were doctors that would perform them illegally for a considerable sum on those that couldn't leave. I guess that a law will need to be passed that ALL US women citizens will need to take a pregnancy test before being allowed to leave the country so it can be noted on their passport that they were pregnant when they left the country. That way when they re-enter the country they can be tested/checked to make sure they are still pregnant so if they aren't they can be charged with having aborted their child illegally. I never have understood how those that are always complaining about the government intruding into our lives with rules and regulations want the most intrusive rules and regulations.
