Re: “Missouri shrouds its executions in secrecy. It's time to end the state's death penalty

Sit the condemned in a chair not unlike the ones used for massages. Strap them down, and secure their head to the halo. Bring the barrel of a remotely fired 30.06 caliber execution weapon down so it is aligned with the back of their skull...laser cross hairs should make it easy to do that. Have the condemned say their final words. Give the signal...and an officer in the other room pulls the trigger...Pow!!!...game over. Quick, painless, and cheap.

Re: “Here's what we know about Frazier Glenn Miller, the unabashed racist arrested in Sunday's shooting spree

Hopefully, whatever the justice system cannot take care of...the Federal prison system will. Release him out into general population. Dude won't last 6 months before he gets shanked.

Re: “Another Mizzou football player arrested for pot possession

I like coach Pinkel, but I am beginning to wonder if he is the coach we need in place for Mizzou to be successful in the SEC. He had better get control of this team and his players, or he will be looking for a new job. The first season in the SEC was a joke, and the boosters will not sit back and tolerate that, especially with all of the money they are spending to improve the facilities.

Re: “Royals get Shields, give up Myers in blockbuster trade

I am glad that the Royals FINALLY made a play in free agency for some quality starting pitching.

Re: “The New York Islanders might have been Kansas City's last NHL chance

The biggest shame in all of this is the fact that the taxpayers got rooked. Our buy in pretty much came with a guarantee that an NHL or NBA franchise would be relocating here. What are we, 5 years in now, and SC still has no anchor tenant, and the P&L District is struggling. Personally...I don't feel one bit sorry, as this is a direct result of the city and county not doing what it takes to get a franchise here. When are the local governments going to stop thinking like we are still a cowtown, and realize we are a metro of almost 2.5 million. It is time to think and live in the now!

Re: “Kansas City Chiefs find new ways to disappoint

I plan to show up next home game with My "FESCOE IS RIGHT" sweatshirt, and a bag on my head. This team is gutless.

Re: “Is Seattle the new Kansas City for NBA and NHL teams?

If the powers that be in Kansas City were willing to do what it takes to get the NBA or NHL here...they would be here by now. A shiny new downtown arena, and the P&L are not enough...you have to be willing to offer the right incentives to a team to make it worth their while to pull up roots and come here. That takes $$$ and know how. Obviously, both of which must have been lacking in past negotiations.
