I am saddened and dismayed as more and more people are lost to violence on KC's streets. I have students of both people and they are devastated. No child (or person) should have to endure such sadness. My heart goes out to the families of all involved. I am dismayed at the comments ... this was a mother and son ... someone loved them. You don't have to love them, but you could respect them. Peace to all.
