I just want to say after my last comment, this does not imply man or woman cannot sin after they come and give there heart to Jesus. What it does mean, is the sin nature you were born with is no longer part of you. Your body is still the same body, and it still might want to do the same things but in time Jesus will change you if you allow Him to. The neat thing is you do not have to make the change before you give your heart to Him, He will change you afterward. if you allow Him to. When you have given your heart to Him you are changed on the inside, it may just take the outside a while to get caught up, but in the meantime you are saved from eternal damnation.
Before you pass to much judgement on Lou Engles, you might consider the possibility of has passion and love for those that our blind to the truth , such as yourself. He earnestly believes that people that do not know Jesus as Lord are sinners and it doesn't matter if you are gay straight or something in between, it is only Jesus that will keep you from the everlasting torment of Hell. The thing that Lou Engles despises is the darkness of the world that blinds the people to the truth. His heart is that people come out of that darkness and see the the error of there ways and step into the Kingdom of God where they can discover the Truth. But to continue in the way they are going is very dangerous and will lead to eternity that was never intended fr any man, but the choice is yours. Lou Engles heart breaks for these people, whether you want to believe it or not

I am not totally sure of your point.. Speaking the truth form the way it is understood by an individual, though not meant to be viewed politically, may very well have political overtones. To be for or against a bill is to express your beliefs, and I do not think that there are laws against that.. Praying for wisdom for a Government is also not outlawed and is done with the very best of intentions and for protection of all it's citizens.. His understanding is that HLGT lifestyle is a dangerous one, to there selves and to others. He does what he does with great passion for all to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I honestly believe I speak on his behalf when I say the dealt punishment is not the important thing, but rather that they can come to know, and accept Jesus as their Lord. The Truth may scare ya, but regardless if it does or not, it does not have to, there is a way out and it is glorious.
