Re: “Kansas City's transgender community learns to help itself”
I read this the other day. I am, too, a transgender. Sadly, my father does not agree with that "lifestyle" or "change" and he is currently struggling with ALS, so until he has passed on, I have to hide in the shadows. Even then, I have no clue where to turn for financial help, support, or advice on how to go about dealing with the stress of being so unhappy in my cage. I did love this article. It was amazing, and very inspirational. Now, If I could find some assistance, I might be happy, too.
