Asparagus spears lightly grilled. Simple and only in season for a few weeks, but it's my fave.

Re: “Do politics influence your food choices?”
I boycott Chick-Fil-A due to their anti-gay views. It's a bit funny because when I was younger I admired them for their integrity to their religion ala closing their restaurant on Sundays. There's a difference though between the integrity to your own values and actively pushing your views to affect legislation and deny people the rights and privileges of marriage. Chick-Fil-A has the right to spend their money the way they want and say whatever they want but I have the same rights and won't subsidize their close-minded campaign.
For those that don't know and are new to Chick-Fil-A you should know that they are one of the few restaurants that has been offering healthy food options decades before their peers. Yes, you can buy waffle fries there but they've had healthier side options and chicken sandwich options for a very long time so their integrity is pretty intact in the gluttony department.
