Re: “Crown Center bans running through fountains”
Colorado Springs had a fountain designed as art and had to shut it off when kids played on it and it clogged up. It now has a filter,and a lifeguard to protect the kids playing in the bottom and to keep them from climbing on the sculptured piece. As a fountain in a park, they realized it was inevitable and made arrangements to make it safe and clean.
