Thank you for the feedback. Eric and I are excited about the dialogue that is happening. This is what is important.
I have been in the financial industry for over 8 years and have had to say "NO" to several viable companies. Banks want a "proven" concept. If we were establishing a "Buffalo Wild Wings" franchise, it would be a different story. But, to bring a business model that has not been attempted in KC, the banks are not likely allies.
While, it is a tall order to rely on the collective wisdom and contributions of the community. We are hopeful that Kansas City is ready to take control and have a say in what types of businesses it allows.
