Re: “Ikea: I shopped there once, and it wasn't a big deal

"...the mere mention of Ikea in the written press will whip the retailer's cult-like following in to a lather. Ikea stories always get read and passed around and discussed on social media, which is more or less what a journalist likes to see happen with one of their stories (unless it's cheap non-news designed to attract eyeballs)."

Arguing that IKEA is no big deal to a town full of its fervent fans is DEFINITELY not an attempt to get read and passed around and discussed on social media. Right Steve?

Re: “Nick and Jake's, midtown version, opens this month, say owners

Using 'Midtown' for a location south of Brush Creek is asinine.

Re: “Raygun opens in the Crossroads Friday

Oh good grief! They're just trying to open a t-shirt shop. Last time I checked, there wasn't a t-shirt shop downtown that was LOCAL or NATIONAL. Downtown needs more retail. An investment in the center of the city is good for all.
