There are serious food safety problems with US horse meat: it's full of banned substances, one of which is a commonly used pain killer used by 92% of horse owners but that's a known human carcinogen. Cattle are not allowed to be given these (since they're raised as food animals) but horses are. If you're going to talk about horse meat as food, you need to tell people about the drugs in it. Also, the plant in Rockville is only a subject of debate because of news on July 18 that the owners of the plant were being sued and charged with fraud, preventing the plant from opening as had been widely publicized. Do some fact checking on this subject, please! You're missing an opportunity to properly inform your readers. And isn't that the purpose of journalism?
