Re: “Joyless, wretched Prairie Village resident demands neighbor move RV to ‘lesser neighborhood’

I moved from an area of town due to crap similar to this. You know what I did NOT do? Go to the 'offending' people and say clean your shit up or move somewhere else cause I DON"T like it.
You know why I didn't? Because there isn't any rules in place for it- which means they were completely within THEIR right to do that. I didn't go and bitch about how they should change- I moved instead. I moved to a neighborhood where there are rules in place to prevent that- BOOM, problem solved. They can have their shit however they want it and I can have mine the way I want it.
People need to get over themselves and realize the world doesn't revolve around you.

Re: “Longboards has opened in Mission, so book a lunch date

Sidenote- Angela- you have your pictures mixed up. The picture at the top of the page is the Wow! Kung Pao. The smaller pic is the Orange Chicken.

Re: “Longboards has opened in Mission, so book a lunch date

As a frequent customer of the Gladstone location and now the Liberty location due to moving- Trust me- Longboards is phe-facking-nominal! The Wow! Kung Pao and the 24 (with Peanut Sauce) are my favorites. My wife rotates the Cabo Beef and Cabo Chicken. The Spring Rolls are great and just as good for breakfast the next morning. The Mac-N-Cheese wrap special is great as well. The best part? The wraps are great later on- My preference is to grab it on the way home from work and put em in the fridge. Go out, tie one on and heat them up in the oven later on.

Re: “While Stand Up KC pushes for higher wages, fast-food companies still have it their way

We can raise the min wage to $15 an hour- after we also double the military pay. How's that? Once you work out a military persons hourly week schedule- they are making at or less than min. wage. Little bit more dangerous environments for them compared to a fry bagger don't you think?
Then once the min wage is $15 an hour, the people who already had jobs that paid $15 an hour get to protest and demand $30 an hour because their company makes billions every year and they're only getting paid min. wage now. Why should they have to shave and dress in business casual in a stuffy office for 40hrs a week when they can get paid the same amount to slap tomatoes on a burger even though a piece of paper 10 inches in front of their face clearly says 'no tomatoes'. So that has to be raised. And then the people who make $30 an hour (union people and such) get to protest and strike that they are only paid min wage when they have a 'skilled' position and should be compensated as such for it.
