Re: “Debbie Gold has left the Red Door Grill

to quityerbitchin: if you never ate there how can you possibly say it was a hot mess with numerous flaws? The meal I had there was FABULOUS and the service was FANTASTIC!

Re: “Debbie Gold opens her Red Door Grill in Leawood

"NO BABY CHANGING TABLES IN THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT"?? boo-fucking-hoo
Who goes to a restaurant to change a diaper?? Get over it!!
I CANNOT wait to go try this new place by a chef I greatly admire and know I will not be disappointed by anything on her menu. BTW, Mr. Ferruzza, I worked at 40 Sardines, and found your comment about the staff there being imperious laughable. Many of our patrons were certainly of that mind set, but the MAJORITY of the servers were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, attentive and friendly.

Re: “God wants you to tip, even at Applebee's

the server DOES NOT "deserve" to be fired for posting the receipt online. Receipts don't show the whole cc#; just the idiotic comment made by the pastor who deserves to be fired. If people are asking for more than one or two lemon slices, I would charge them for it. Making their own lemonade?? That's just too cheap to fathom. Stay home and eat Ramen noodles if you can't afford to eat out, order a drink and tip accordingly.

Re: “Livestrong & Sporting KC ready to end naming-rights deal

what Armstrong did to himself to give himself an advantage in all those races, has absolutely NOTHING to do with what he accomplished by forming the LIVESTRONG organization. A good friend recently posted the following and I could not have worded it better:
"LIVESTRONG is a registered 4 Star Charity by Charity Navigator rating 64.74 out of 70. 82% of funds raised are invested in programs and services for cancer survivors and their families (the national average is 75%). Last year their navigation services saved patients almost $6 million. LIVESTRONG has the most passionate employees and volunteers I have ever had the honor of working with. I have seen up close and personal how LIVESTRONG improves the lives of people affected by cancer. I have met the most incredible, inspiring and brave cancer fighters and I am humbled by and in awe of them. How do I feel about all of this? I am sickened and crushed. Sickened by those that want to drag LIVESTRONG down because of the sins of the founder. Crushed that LIVESTRONG has been put in this position where all of their hard work is being questioned by people that don't understand what an incredible organization it is. LIVESTRONG is LIVESTRONG and Lance is Lance. I am glad he founded LIVESTRONG and has helped millions of people navigate their cancer journey. I agree that he should be held accountable for his actions but please leave LIVESTRONG out of it, don't confuse the two."
