Re: “Potbelly Sandwich shop coming to KC in 2013”
I’m thrilled to see Potbelly coming to the Plaza in ’13. Work trips to Chicago were never complete without a shake from Potbelly (yes, complete with the miniature cookie on the straw). These eateries actually have décor and personality that run deeper than the simple veneer you see at most sandwich shops. Potbelly far outshines the likes of Firehouse, Pickleman’s and most certainly Subway. The Freebird comparison by Zeemanb isn’t far off. The only drawback to Potbelly is the live music which can get loud if you’re looking for a quiet lunch.
