Re: “Kansas City planning a hefty sales-tax-increase election to fund streetcar expansion

Kansas Citians, I urge you to think not of "what will this do for me right now?", but rather "what will this do for the city I live in?" Big picture, this improves the transit and image of KC, and carries with it the prospect of infill development and the pumping of new energy and life into the core of the city (which we see is already being fulfilled prior to the completion of the first track). A dense, vibrant KC is worth a 1% tax increase, and anyone subject to that increase will reap the benefits in due time, be it the active benefits of improved transit and neighborhood revitalization, or the latent benefits of a boosted local economy.

Thanks for hearing my two cents.

Re: “The Orion Building, part of Kansas City's historic Film Row, is razed

Yes, keep tearing down historic building and creating parking lots. THAT is the way of the future, THAT is progress, THAT has worked for downtown in the past..... idiotic.

Idiotic and shameful. Kansas City is in desperate need of planning and sustainability education.

Re: “Streetcar opponents apparently not done opposing streetcars

Trying their best to hold the city back in a time of unprecedented momentum... shame
