Re: “Restaurants that ban children? Really?

How is banning children from restaurants is a form of age discrimation? Technically, restaurant ban children from their establishment is legal. It's just like selling alcohol, tobacco and lottery, some restaurants put on a age restriction is base on what kind of clientele that restaurant want to target more. Not all restaurants has a children's menu, so you're going to aspect to see an age restrictions at restaurants.

There are some restaurants that have signs saying no screaming allowed. We need parents to step up and taking action by taking their screaming child outside so they don't interrupt other patrons in the establishment. Parents, you need to tell you children that going to a restaurant is a privilege not a right and teach them proper etiquette and manners when they go to a public place. It seem to me that some parents today, are too lazy to teach their children anything or giving them any displine of any kind. What is this world coming to? There are parents today that think that their children have the right to be in any restaurant and allow their kids to display an unruly behavior in any public establishment and not do anything about it. I'm not saying not all parents are like that but some parents who let their children get away with everything should not only arrested but their children taken away. I'm sorry but having a child that is act so unruly in public is totally unacceptable, there are people in society that don't think children screaming and act up in public is cute. Children who throw tantrums and scream their lungs out with no reason are acting like a bunch of banshee, no offense but it annoying and irritating. But to the parents who teach their children manner, I don't have a problem with you, it these self-entitlement parents I have issues with. If you going to take your kid out anywhere, start at home then work your way out into the public.
