Re: “Local musician Gardienne was accidentally locked in a CVS last night

All employees hate working for CVS. Checking for customers before leaving would just hold them back. Worst employer ever.

Re: “Cowboy Indian Bear's Katlyn Conroy on her Indie Go-Go campaign, European tour and upcoming solo albums

Throughout history, artists have enjoyed the financial and moral support of their fans. Nothing has changed, save an increase in self-righteous comments on threads like this one. There will always be art. There will always be judgey judgers. Guess who comes out smelling like a rose and who comes out smelling like a souring douche? I fully support you on your quest, Katlyn. The only way you will ever be defeated is if you allow confidence-sucking limits to hang like a yoke around your neck. Kick ass and don't look back.

Re: “Camp Zoe, former home to hippie jam fest Schwagstock, will become a Missouri state park

Oh yeah, my mistake. You are correct. The feds seized the property. "Good thing we have someone looking out for drug activity occurring on private property," said no poor kid who went to school without breakfast, ever.

Re: “Camp Zoe, former home to hippie jam fest Schwagstock, will become a Missouri state park

Let me see if I can follow this: the state of Missouri seized someone's private property, and then it WON it in an auction, thereby, selling it TO itself for $640,000.00. How does the state of Missouri even HAVE $640,000.00? The last I heard, my home state was broke as f*ck, such that even already-impoverished children were staring down the barrel of reduced Medicaid benefits and food stamp allowances. What a rotten steward of responsibility we've become when we stop helping "the least of these" at the same time we are profiting off the misfortunes of others.

Re: “Jan Marcason was 'floored' about the new Jimmy John's on Broadway

Don totally cracked me up. That almost happened to me a few years ago after I ate at Los Corrals. I was in a brand new car, too. It was a good thing I worked nearby. Of course, it was a Sunday and I had to circle my building at least three times before a space opened up, and then I had to wait for an elevator. I can't believe it's funny now.

I am sick and f*cking tired of chains going up everywhere. It's so creepy. Pharmacies and processed food stations. Get 'em sick so you can medicate 'em. And people get in line.

Re: “ACLU teams with Hustler publisher Larry Flynt to halt execution of his shooter in Missouri

Do media outlets no longer require the expertise of an editor?
