Re: “What the hell is really going on between Union Station and the Kansas City Museum?

George Guestello has been able to take Kansas City's vision and infuse it with a method for success. The improvements since he arrived have been impressive and have resulted in greater attendance and certainly greater pride in this historical landmark. It is easy to find fault. The Kansas City Museum is certainly an important landmark as well. The idea to collect taxes from we the people and share between museums will most likely necessitate a shift in priority spending from period to period. I congragulate George and all involved from shifting attention from an great imbarassment watching Union Station head toward certain failure to becoming an point of pride for locals and visitors around the world. Divisiveness will not help in managing either of these precious sights in Kansas City. Give George Credit for being a leader who has turned this endeavor around and actually saved taxpayer a tremendous amount in not only money waisted as the vision was lost or mismanaged. Union Station is now helping Kansas City shine, and demonstrates to the nation that Kansas City has much to be proud of.
