Re: “Kabuki Japanese Restaurant joins Crown Center dead-restaurant list

Wow! Remarkably poor journalism. Lots of holes in this article. How does this clown of a reporter know Kabuki was visited more by tourists than locals? I usually sat at the bar and always met locals. Plus, as has been previously pointed out, how did this place stay open for 28 years, but only get reviewed once by this guy? Chefs change = menus change = restaurants improve/decline. My guess is that they improved given their longevity. This clown obviously needs to learn a thing or two about longevity. He seems more caught up in the decor. Who cares about plastic plants??!! Poorly written article on all counts. FAIL, Pitch!!

Re: “Kabuki Japanese Restaurant joins Crown Center dead-restaurant list

Better more interesting sushi restaurants??? Try to get authentic sushi like uni or reasonably-priced, generously-sliced sushimi from any other restaurant in town. It's not possible. Sushi in KC won't be the same without Kabuki. Stick with what you know, Chuck. It's clearly not sushi. Perhaps California rolls and imitation crab?
