Re: “Cowboy Indian Bear's Katlyn Conroy on her Indie Go-Go campaign, European tour and upcoming solo albums

To everyone else reading, I know the person who is posting this (under various user names), my family has had many problems in the past with them, and they take a lot of pleasure in saying things they think will make me look bad and hurt me.
Luckily, I understand the mental issues that they have and dont take any of it personally. So, as much as I really appreciate everyone sending all of your apologies on behalf of this person, there is no need. I've never been about drama, and always have tried not to give into people like this, and I will always focus on positivity and creativity above all else. The Pitch was so incredibly wonderful to post this article, and unfortunately no matter what site you're on, the anonymity of the internet ensures that anyone can spew nasty rumors and untrue statements. So, in ending (and my last response to all of this silliness), if anyone has actual, serious, questions about my fundraiser, please feel free to contact me at Katlynconroymusic@gmail.com. Thank you Pitch! Thank you everyone! Miserable people will never stop trying to make other people miserable.

I think the best course of action here would be to just let GreenOlive get out what they need to say. If that means posting rude comments, there's nothing anyone can do about it. If he or she were serious about questions, they would be directed to me via email and not posted here. Again, I have the best bandmates and supporters in the world, no need to fret over this.

Also, it's responses like this that really make me appreciate everyone who has come out to my shows and made any attempt to really know me and my history with music. You guys help me to keep pushing and really believing in myself, and for that I can't thank you enough.

Re: “Cowboy Indian Bear's Katlyn Conroy on her Indie Go-Go campaign, European tour and upcoming solo albums

I do have a job and have been saving. Even with saving, it isn't enough with my current situation. It is for me, as my moniker, La Guerre to go to Europe, and some wonderful Welsh musicians have agreed to join me as my band for that tour. Sometimes artists have to take risks, like attempting to book the best shows possible far ahead of time, even with being unsure if I could afford the trip. And artists also do fundraisers of this nature all of the time, I was waiting for a time when I would truly need the money, when I knew it would be worth asking my friends and supporters to donate for a cause I could really utilize. I am desperate, desperate to spread my music as far as possible and I know many musicians in Lawrence and Kansas City are as well.
I appreciate your point of view and respect your decision to not contribute.
