      <![CDATA[Nothing says "War Between the States" like a contest between Places/People/Things MO and KS, does it? And so, I find it ironic that I should be musing over the Pitch's current contest for the Best of Everything (KC Metro version), at the Starbucks in Westport, on the Missouri side, when a Lexus with Kansas plates pulls up and its driver stops and parks in the crosswalk despite the presence of a  legal  parking spot ten feet back.
