      <![CDATA[Growing up in a small farming community in Kansas you know where your dollars go when you spend them on local labor and that in turn keeps that dollar in the community resulting in a stronger community.       <![CDATA[There are many subcontractors in this area who pay taxes, own homes and are actively contributing in many ways to their community. They have to submit competitive bids for their part of a construction project.<br><br>I have  seen big apartment projects in this area where there are an endless supply of mexican workers doing sheet rock, roofing, stonework and cement work on Saturdays and Sundays.
