      <![CDATA[Actually rural nonpoint source pollution in streams is likely to be from faulty or non-existing wastewater systems at rural residences located close to water bodies as well as wildlife and unconfined livestock coming in direct contact with the waterbody.<br><br>DNR has possesion of a bacteria DNR typing study that showed geese were the major source of E. Coli. in either the Spring River or Shoal Creek (can't remember which)in SW Missouri.
