MY RESPONSE . . from GOD's WORD:

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (II Tim. 3:16)

It is you and the "church" of which you are a member who do not wish to be "boxed in" by the parameters God has set down in his Word to govern them and have instead invented a wider authority which gives them license to conduct themselves without accountability to either God or man!

The Word of God is the Christian church's only rule for faith and practice.

The Old Testament consists of the 22 books compiled by the Jews.

Since Christianity is based on the identity of Jesus (The Messiah), the Old Testament Jesus used is the Old Testament his church should use. There are legitimate reasons for carrying a weapon which the law has stipulated, i.e., hunting.
